Andrii Sybiga calls for patronage
Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiga called on more partner countries of Ukraine to join the patronage over this or that region. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs published such a statement on the X social network, reports "Evropeyska Pravda".
The minister noted that the patronage of partner countries over Ukrainian cities and regions has great potential, allows to provide support directly to people on the ground and will have a long-term impact, in particular, because residents remember this help well.
Andriy Sybiga also reminded that a number of allies have already joined this initiative: they provide significant assistance in the restoration of regions, promote investments and the development of entrepreneurship in the respective territories.
"I call on the partners of Ukraine, who have not yet done so, to join the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and choose a region for patronage where they can contribute to changes," said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
"European Truth" reminds us of the countries that focused on helping certain regions of Ukraine. In particular, Estonia helps Zhytomyr region, Latvia helps Chernihiv region, and Lithuania participates in the reconstruction of the north of Kyiv region. Denmark took patronage over Mykolaiv, and Italy implements initiatives for restoration in the field of culture, in particular in Odesa.
As "Ukrainian Energy" reported, due to hostilities and other reasons, 517 settlements were completely or partially cut off this morning. In particular, residents of the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Kherson regions suffer without electricity due to attacks by the Russian Federation.
