Electricity consumption high for second week in a row
The need for frugal consumption persists throughout the day
Electricity consumption is at a consistently high level, which corresponds to seasonal indicators. This is reported by NPC Ukrenergo.
Today, December 12, at 6:30, its level was the same as at this time the previous day. Yesterday, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the morning. It was 1.4% lower than the maximum of the previous day - on Tuesday, December 10.
Ukraine's power system continues to recover from 11 massive Russian attacks since the beginning of this year, and it remains severely under-resourced. Emergency repairs are ongoing at power facilities, forcing hourly outages for residential customers and capacity curtailment schedules for industry and business.

Imports from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova continue throughout the day. The total volume is 12,378 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 924 MW in individual hours.
