448 contracts for the supply of equipment for energy companies worth 430 million euros have been concluded. This is more than three times higher than in 2023
"The total value of completed purchases and concluded supply contracts in 2024 is 430 million euros, which is more than three times higher than the 129 million euros contracted by the end of 2023," the Energy Community Secretariat said in a report, Ukrinform reports.
Thus, the total value of contracts concluded with funds from the Energy Support Fund reached 559 million euros.
It is also noted that in 2024, the Fund concluded 448 new agreements for the purchase of equipment, bringing the total number of contracts to 635.
The Energy Community Secretariat noted that the supply of equipment has accelerated, in particular, gas turbines, transformers, mobile cogeneration units, solar panels for hospitals, etc. Most of the supplies were concentrated in the regions most affected by the war.
The Energy Support Fund received over €598.9 million in new contributions in 2024. The donor base has expanded to 31 donors. At the same time, the gap between requests for support received and available funding is estimated at around €600 million.
As Ukrainian Energy reported, by the end of May 2025, the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine had accumulated over 1.1 billion euros.
