Electricity consumption in Ukraine corresponds to seasonal indicators
However, energy experts advise saving energy and not turning on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
On Thursday, December 19, at 7:00, the level of electricity consumption was the same as the previous day. This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo.
On December 18, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the morning. It was 1.7% lower than the maximum of the previous day.
Energy experts remind that the system is currently recovering after twelve massive attacks by Russians since the beginning of this year, and it still has a significant capacity deficit.
Today, there is also a need to save electricity. It is important not to use several powerful electrical appliances at the same time between 8:00 and 20:00.
Electricity imports from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova continue throughout the day. The total volume is 10,422 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 862 MW in some hours.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", there have been no electricity restrictions in Ukraine for the third day in a row. The reasons are above-zero temperatures, increased imports, and the work of power engineers who are restoring the damaged infrastructure.
