Ukrenergo records growth in electricity consumption in Ukraine on July 22
The reason for the increase in energy consumption is the establishment of hot weather in most regions
According to the press service of NPC Ukrenergo, electricity consumption today, Tuesday, July 22, is showing a growing trend. As of 9:30 a.m., its level was 3.4% higher than at this time the previous day, Monday. Ukrenergo calls the reason for such changes the establishment of hot weather in most regions.
Yesterday, July 21, the daily maximum consumption recorded in the evening was 1.9% lower than the maximum of the previous working day - on Friday, July 18.
For its part, the Ministry of Energy states that as of July 22, the country's power system is balanced, and no planned restrictions for consumers are foreseen.
Ukrenergo also reports that due to adverse weather conditions (thunderstorm, gusts of wind) on the morning of July 22, 5 settlements in one of the regions were completely or partially without electricity. Oblenergo specialists are performing emergency repair work on damaged lines. It is planned to restore power supply to all disconnected subscribers within a few hours.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", electricity consumption in Ukraine on July 21 showed a downward trend - mainly due to the establishment of moderate air temperatures in most regions of Ukraine.
