However, its level remains high and corresponds to seasonal indicators
According to the press service of NPC Ukrenergo, the level of electricity consumption in Ukraine today, Thursday, January 23, has decreased somewhat. At the same time, it remains high and corresponds to seasonal indicators. Thus, today, as of 9:30, it was 2% lower than at the same time yesterday — Wednesday, January 22.
Yesterday, the daily maximum consumption recorded in the morning was at the same level as the maximum the previous day — on Tuesday, January 21.
Ukrenergo reminds that the Ukrainian power system continues to recover after massive Russian missile and drone attacks. Emergency restoration work is ongoing at energy facilities.
Therefore, the need for economical electricity consumption remains. Therefore, consumers are asked to limit the use of powerful electrical appliances from 08:00 to 20:00 and not turn on several devices at the same time during this period.
The transmission system operator also emphasizes that the situation in the power system may change. Up-to-date information about it can be found on the websites and official social media pages of regional distribution system operators (oblenergo).
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", as of yesterday morning, Wednesday, January 22, the level of electricity consumption in Ukraine was 1.1% higher than on Tuesday, January 21. Ukrenergo explained this by cloudy weather in most regions, which led to a noticeable decrease in the productivity of household solar power plants.
