Naftogaz Group launches new high-yield well

It will provide 150 thousand cubic meters of gas per day
Naftogaz Group has commissioned a new exploration well with a daily output of 150 thousand cubic meters of gas. The company reports this. The depth of the well is 5400 m.
"Increasing gas production is of strategic importance for the energy security of our country in times of war. I thank my colleagues for their consistent and effective work in this direction," noted Roman Chumak, who temporarily acts as the Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz.
Construction of a site for the next exploration well has begun at the said field.
As reported by "Ukrainian Energy", "Naftogaz" paid over UAH 80 billion in taxes in 11 months of 2024. Over UAH 74 billion of this was directed to the state budget.
