On December 31, the Russian army launched another missile strike on the territory of Ukraine.
An air raid alert was issued in Kyiv at 7:17 a.m. Less than an hour later, explosions were heard. The Kyiv City Military Administration reported on the work of the Air Defense Forces. As a result of the missile strike on Kyiv, debris was recorded falling in the Darnytskyi district of the capital. 3 private buildings and 2 cars were damaged.
Also this morning, a hit was recorded on the infrastructure of the Shostka community in Sumy region. This was reported by the OVA.
As a result of the Russian attack, some infrastructure facilities were destroyed. 12 multi-storey residential buildings, two educational institutions and social facilities in Shostka were damaged. Emergency and rescue units are working on the ground, said the head of the community, Mykola Noga. According to him, the Russian army is still shelling.

Incompetent actions of the occupiers may lead to a complete loss of power supply for the Zaporizhzhia NPP's own needs with the subsequent development of a nuclear or radiation accident, the company notes.
