AMCU allowed FTD Investments LTD to buy two solar power plants
FTD Investments LTD will receive more than 50% of votes in the highest management bodies of LLC Bolokhiv Solar Park 1 and LLC Bolokhiv Solar Park 2 – solar power plants (SPPs) in Zhytomyr region
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) has allowed the Cypriot company FTD Investments LTD to acquire control over LLC Bolokhiv Solar Park 1 and LLC Bolokhiv Solar Park 2, NVBusiness reports, citing a statement from the AMCU press service.
FTD Investments will receive more than 50% of the votes in the supreme management body of each of the companies.
Solar power plants Bolokhiv Solar Park 1 (capacity 14.76 MW) and Bolokhiv Solar Park 2 (18.59 MW) are located in the eastern part of Zhytomyr region. They have been in operation since 2019. The founder of both companies is the Dutch Green Genius International, the ultimate beneficiary is Lithuanian Martinkenas Kestusis.
Cypriot FTD Investments LTD owns 50.02% of the authorized capital of FTD LLC, the ultimate beneficiaries of which are Ukrainian businessmen Valery Makovetsky and Gennady Vykhodtsev - co-founders of the network of online stores for household appliances "Foxtrot".
