This concerns the arrested corporate rights in the authorized capital of "Ukrnaftoburinnia", which were transferred to the management of UKRNAFTA in accordance with the agreement concluded by ARMA
As a result of the successful work of the National Agency for Asset Tracing and Management, the State Budget of Ukraine received UAH 1,073,576,575.00 from the management of the assets of the Sakhalin gas field. This was reported by ARMA.
The report states that it concerns "arrested corporate rights in the authorized capital of PJSC “VC “Ukrnaftoburinnia”, which were transferred to the management of PJSC “UKRNAFTA” in accordance with the agreement concluded by ARMA. The terms of the agreement provide for the transfer of 90% of the profit to the state budget, which ensured such large-scale revenues".
It is noted that such revenues to the budget were ensured thanks to the transfer of the remaining 7 shares of shareholders to the management of PJSC “UKRNAFTA” initiated by ARMA on the basis of an additional order of the Government. This enabled PJSC “UKRNAFTA” to promptly hold a shareholders’ meeting and make the necessary decisions for the redistribution of dividends and payment to the state budget.
“We show that an arrested asset can work for the state today. The Sakhalin field is an example of how effective management and a clear legal position give a concrete result for the economy in wartime. And this is not the limit of our capabilities,” emphasized ARMA Head Olena Duma.
"In August 2024, Ukrnaftoburinnia resumed work at the Sakhalin field (Kharkiv region). The company's net profit for 2024 is UAH 1.19 billion. Today, UAH 1.074 billion has been paid to the state budget - 90% of net profit. The enterprise continues to produce natural gas, which is critically needed by the country," said Yuriy Tkachuk, Acting Director of PJSC Ukrnafta.
