22 May 2025

The total capacity of projects ready for implementation, according to the Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association, is 4 GW

"This year, we have 7 wind power plants under construction," said Andriy Konechenkov, Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association (UVEA), during the conference "Green Energy for Reconstruction", Ukrinform reports.

In particular, construction of the second phase of the Tyligul Wind Farm, which is currently the largest wind project in Ukraine, has begun.

Between February 2022 and early 2024, companies fully or partially built 4 wind farms. During 2024, only 20 MW of commercial wind generation capacity was installed in Ukraine.

"Today we declare that there are 4 GW of ready-made projects for construction," Konechenkov noted.
