Electricity consumption is increasing in Ukraine
As a result of hostilities and other reasons, 538 settlements were cut off this morning
This morning, October 25, electricity consumption was 3.5% higher than the previous day, Thursday. In NEC UKrenergo, this is explained by the cloudy weather in most regions of Ukraine and the reduced efficiency of domestic SPPs.
That is why energy experts urge to use powerful electrical appliances from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Due to hostilities and other reasons, 538 settlements were completely or partially cut off this morning.
In particular, there are new blackouts in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions due to attacks by Russian troops.
Due to technical reasons, consumers in Dnipropetrovsk region are without electricity.
Import of electricity from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova continues during the day. With a total volume of 7,439 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 1,290 MW in individual hours.
As "Uкraynska energetika" wrote, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has received 19,200 tons of humanitarian aid from partners to support the stable operation of the energy system.
